When we work together, we'll be working to a defined goal or goals that you want to achieve by the conclusion of our engagement. Only you can determine what that will be, and we'll examine that closely at the outset.
You know your world better than I do, and I'm not here to share my opinions or influence your decisions. My role is to ask the questions and offer the observations that help you think more clearly - about what you’re trying to achieve, what could get in the way and what to do about it.
There may be a specific decision you need to make or a conversation you need to get right. Sometimes there’s a broader question about direction, how you’re developing as a leader, or breaking free from a pattern that’s not working for you. Either way, the goal is to help you move forward with confidence, clarity and a deeper self awareness that will support you long after we’ve finished working together.
I offer three programmes, depending on what you're looking to achieve.
How we’d work together
Sprint
(3 sessions)
You know the change you want to make, but want to make decisions with confidence and clear thinking. Whether that's building your confidence, sharpening how you position yourself, or putting a clear strategy into action.
Clarity
(6 sessions)
Step back and look at the bigger picture. Assess where you are - what’s working, what isn’t and what you want from what comes next. Together we’ll examine what drives your choices, identify patterns holding you back, and build a plan to move forward.
Retained
(Monthly, ongoing)
A thinking partner who can help you navigate the key challenges that come your way, whilst developing your self-awareness as a leader and remaining focussed on what matters most to you in your life and career.
Client stories
A highly successful senior compliance professional, they'd been at their current firm for nearly two decades. Over that period, their role evolved considerably. Alongside promotions, they'd joined committees, steering groups and projects that extended well beyond their core responsibilities.
They were giving a great deal to a role that was no longer giving much back. They felt isolated, unfulfilled and ready for change, but the prospect of securing a new role elsewhere still felt overwhelming and unachievable. Their identity had become tightly bound to the firm and they had a deep sense of loyalty and guilt at the thought of leaving.
Through coaching, we unpicked the emotional barriers that made the prospect of leaving feel unachievable. We explored the beliefs they held about themselves, alongside perfectionism and people-pleasing drivers — how they'd shaped their career and the impact they were having now.
We considered what career options could be pursued and shifted from rumination to action through breaking the process of initiating a career move into smaller, manageable steps — starting with what lay just outside the comfort zone and expanding it incrementally.
By the end of our 6 sessions, they'd moved beyond the emotional paralysis. They were able to view their situation with a healthy detachment, putting themselves first, and approaching their job search with calm curiosity and purpose.
Stuck after 18 years — and unable to explain why.
A Senior Project Manager at a Magic Circle law firm, they came to coaching feeling "trapped" and "imprisoned" in their current position and were struggling to see a way out of this malaise. Key projects had been cancelled, their self-confidence had collapsed and they couldn't imagine being valued elsewhere.
Over six sessions, we explored what was driving the self-doubt. A significant part of the work involved surfacing beliefs that had been operating in the background, shaping how they were interpreting events around them and how this was impacting their self-confidence.
We explored what positive beliefs they could access, and worked through their values and strengths to rebuild an evidence-based picture of what they've achieved in their career and what contribution they bring in their current role. We broke down the elements of a job search into manageable actions, working outward from their comfort zone incrementally.
After 6 sessions, their confidence had visibly returned. Colleagues noticed the shift, and although they were now comfortable applying for roles elsewhere, they no longer had the desire to leave. They chose to stay at their current firm, but with renewed clarity, purpose and ownership of their career direction.
Feeling trapped — and unable to see their own value.
Looking for something different? Let's talk about what would work for you.
Our 1:1 sessions will be held remotely, lasting between 75 to 90 minutes, approximately two to five weeks apart depending on your schedule and what we’re working on.
Some find it useful to establish action points and reflections to complete between sessions, but we'll agree what works best for you at the start.
